Veterinary Medical Director, Orlando, FL, Up to $210,000 + Sign-On Bonus of Up to $50,000

Lead a dedicated veterinary team while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care in a modern, community-focused hospital.

The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced veterinarian to step into the position of Part-Time Medical Director within a well-established small animal hospital in Orlando, Florida.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape clinical standards while remaining actively involved in patient care. Working alongside an experienced veterinary team, you'll help guide the hospital's medical direction, mentor colleagues, and ensure the continued delivery of outstanding veterinary services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional medical and surgical care to companion animals.
• Leading clinical quality assurance and maintaining high medical standards across the practice.
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing veterinary colleagues and clinical staff.
• Assisting with hospital policies, medical protocols, and equipment planning.
• Promoting a collaborative, positive workplace culture focused on continuous improvement and excellent client service.
• Additional day-to-day leadership responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida veterinary licence.
