Position Overview
We are seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide specialized, patient-centered care for individuals with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing mental health needs, implementing individualized care plans, and supporting patients through their treatment and recovery process. The ideal candidate is empathetic, skilled in therapeutic communication, and experienced in managing a variety of behavioral health conditions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Pay Rates
Full-Time: $40 $50/hour
Per-Diem: $50 $60/hour
Key Responsibilities
Assess psychiatric conditions and develop care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient response
Provide emotional support and therapeutic care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans

Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Ability to handle sensitive and high-risk situations
Commitment to patient safety and dignity
Requirements
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
BSN Required
Magnet-ready experience preferred
BLS required
Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
