Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pool Maintenance & Repair Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of swimming pools, spas, and water features. This includes routine cleaning, water chemistry testing, and diagnosing and repairing pool equipment. Strong customer service skills and mechanical ability are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine pool maintenance: skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and backwashing.

  • Test and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness).

  • Diagnose and repair common pool system issues including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and plumbing.

  • Replace and install pool equipment as needed.

  • Identify leaks and perform basic pipe or valve repairs.

  • Communicate with customers regarding maintenance schedules, findings, and recommendations.

  • Maintain detailed records of services performed, chemicals used, and parts installed.

  • Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations.

  • Keep service vehicle stocked, clean, and in good working order.

  • Respond to emergency service calls when required.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of pool maintenance and/or repair experience.

  • Strong understanding of pool systems and water chemistry.

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues.

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (preferred but not required).

  • Experience with residential and commercial pools.

  • Familiarity with pool automation systems (e.g., Jandy, Hayward, Pentair).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
