Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION Manufactures high-quality, low-cost pipe according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV quality and safety measures.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Operates winding machine
- Run DSC machine
- Extractor cart operation
- Operate impact gun
- Use measuring equipment
- Operation of mix station
- Understand specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Ability to read pressure gauges
- Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Assist where and when needed as required
- Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
- Assist with OJT (On Job Training) employees as needed
- MDA-required physical clearance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
