Job Description

We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our client's growing practice in Louisville, KY. This role is designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between traditional administrative support and modern legal operations. You will support multiple attorneys by managing complex calendars, drafting documents, and utilizing AI-driven legal tools to streamline case workflows.  This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. 

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Handle electronic filings via Kentucky’s CourtNet 2.0 and federal PACER/ECF systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, witnesses, and court personnel; schedule depositions and mediations.
• Manage attorney billing, expense reports, and travel arrangements.
• Organize and maintain physical and digital files; track deadlines via firm-wide practice management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase).
