Position Overview

We are seeking a high-agency Fullstack Software Engineer to join our centralized Notifications squad. In this high-impact product engineering track, you will design, implement, and scale the mission-critical systems governing our global notification engines and high-volume email lifecycles. Working across the full application stack, you will collaborate alongside multi-disciplinary Machine Learning, Product, and Data Science divisions to deliver resilient, fault-tolerant user experiences that directly impact hundreds of millions of monthly active users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack System Scaling: Architect, implement, and govern low-latency backend microservices and responsive user interfaces to manage transactional real-time notification alerts.
• Technical Design Ownership: Author structured system design blueprints, participating actively across full product development loops spanning automated testing, data experimentation, metrics analysis, and code deployment stages.
• Ecosystem Integration: Build, expand, and maintain underlying infrastructure components handling web and mobile notification routing pipelines, ensuring cross-browser system stability.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner tightly with product managers, data scientists, and creative leads to ship high-quality, scalable user-facing features.
• Operational Excellence: Support live web ops infrastructure, debugging system processing bottlenecks and crafting fault-tolerant codebases to mitigate high-throughput service crashes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of verified professional software development experience delivering user-facing web applications or distributed product features from design down to production.
• Balanced full-stack engineering proficiency, with a solid foundational command over frontend interfaces and backend system architectures.
• Strong, practical development exposure using TypeScript for client-side layouts alongside Go (Golang), Python, or GraphQL for backend data querying pipelines.
• Proven tracking record in system resiliency, including deep familiarity with unit testing, automated verification runners, and high-availability live operations support.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication mechanics, tailored to drive progress across distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Location Context: Flexible remote work infrastructure support open to qualified full-stack professionals based anywhere within the United States .

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity navigating large-scale message distribution arrays, event streaming systems, or automated workflow processing schedulers (such as Kafka, Spark, or Airflow ).
• Operational exposure managing relational or distributed NoSQL datastores (including PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra, or BigQuery ).
• Familiarity orchestrating containerized microservices deployment pipelines utilizing Docker and Kubernetes .

• Standardized Target Pay Range: $164,000 – $229,000 USD per annum (Base pay ranges are calibrated against level benchmarks, supplemented by lucrative Restricted Stock Units equity components).
