Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Project Manager to lead and coordinate Epicor Kinetic ERP initiatives across multiple business units and locations. This role will be responsible for managing ERP implementation, optimization, enhancement, and integration projects while collaborating with executive leadership, business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background leading Epicor Kinetic project in manufacturing or distribution environments, managing cross-functional teams, multiple company implementations, and enterprise-wide process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Epicor Kinetic ERP implementation, upgrade, optimization, and enhancement projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple business units, companies, and geographic locations.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions, status meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Executive Leadership teams to align business objectives with ERP capabilities.
  • Oversee third-party consultants, system integrators, and technical resources.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and project documentation.
  • Drive user adoption, change management, training, and process standardization initiatives.
  • Ensure successful deployment of integrations, reporting solutions, and Epicor modules.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of ERP Project Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Epicor Kinetic project leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing full lifecycle ERP implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience leading projects across multiple companies, divisions, or manufacturing sites.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time consulting environment.

Candidates should have experience working with or managing projects involving the following Epicor Kinetic tools and modules:

  • Epicor Grow Analytics

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Experience managing or supporting integrations with:

  • Avalara
  • BarTender
  • HRIS Platforms
  • Third-Party Applications
  • APIs and External Data Integrations

Preferred Industry Experience

  • Manufacturing

  • Engineer-to-Order (ETO)
  • Make-to-Order (MTO)
  • Multi-site Operations

Desired Skills

  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes including:

  • Experience supporting cloud and on-premise Epicor environments.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive organizational change.

Engagement Details

  • Contract Duration: 6+ Months
  • Estimated Commitment: 15 Hours per Week
  • Remote with occasional travel as required
  • Immediate project involvement with executive and operational stakeholders
