Entry-Level Tax Accountant (CPA Track)

This established CPA Firm in the Southtowns of Buffalo is seeking an Entry-Level Tax Accountant (CPA Track) to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity offering $25-28/hour, depending on experience, along with a strong bonus structure.

This Entry-Level Tax Accountant will work closely with leadership, gain exposure to real client work early on, and develop skills across individual, partnership, and corporate tax. This Southtowns CPA Firm focuses on tax and small business advisory services, providing a well-rounded and practical learning environment.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants mentorship, growth, and long-term stability, while also valuing life-work balance.

This is an onsite position near Orchard Park, NY

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual (1040), partnership, and corporate tax returns
  • Support tax planning and compliance work for small business clients
  • Assist with financial data review and documentation
  • Work directly with senior accountants and leadership on client engagements
  • Maintain organized records and ensure accurate reporting
  • Assist with bookkeeping and advisory support as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or near completion
  • CPA track required, or intent to pursue CPA
  • Accounting or tax experience (internships and post-graduate experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
