Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight according to DOT regulations and company policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs)
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Report maintenance concerns promptly
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer relationships
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Acceptable driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
• Strong commitment to safety
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous OTR or regional driving experience
• Experience operating late-model tractor-trailers
• Clean CSA and safety history

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
