URGENT HIRE: Transactional Commercial & Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney
Asheville, NC
Salary will be based on the candidate's experience and other job-related factors, in accordance with applicable law.
A leading law firm in Asheville, North Carolina is actively seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of transactional experience to join its dynamic team. This is a full-time, offering high-level involvement in both commercial and residential real estate matters, including closings, development, zoning, and community association work.
MUST HAVE: Active North Carolina Law License + 3-5 Years of Real Estate Transactional Experience.

What You'll Do:
* Handle commercial and residential closings
* Draft and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, easements, and finance documents
* Conduct title and survey reviews
* Advise on real estate development, zoning, and land use
* Represent community associations and developers on creation, governance, and enforcement issues
* Provide strategic counsel on HOA/tax-related issues (bonus if you have experience!)
* Manage files from inception to closing , maintaining strong client communication
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Licensed in North Carolina (REQUIRED)
* 3-5 years of real estate transactional experience
* Book of business is a bonus , but not required
* Exposure to both commercial and residential transactions
* Familiarity with zoning, land use, and community associations
* Strong client service and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple deals independently and meet deadlines
* Entrepreneurial mindset - interest in growing into a partnership track
* HOA and tax experience is a plus
Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
